A transmuted landscape, appropriated from icy fields and mountains, is forced into an oversaturated desert that challenges the common idea of a nothingness devoid of color. Combined with the vibrating sound of sand dunes in motion, the video forms a suggestive abstract narrative, further distorting the imaginary desert. This double reappropriation questions common notions of nothingness, how imagined landscapes are constructed and experienced, and how transformative experiences occur, and whether or not their contingency can be collectively demonstrated.
